At some point during every Thursday evening for the last three weeks Daniel looks at me, and says, "Well, at this time 3 weeks ago..." or "Remember what was happening at nine o'clock last Thursday night?" and then Friday morning, and early afternoon the reminiscing continues.
New birth really does change everything.
We love remembering our son's birth together.
Hard to believe it's already been 4 weeks. His due date is Sunday. Strange ... I had a list of all the things I was going to do each day past my due date, so that I wouldn't get overly anxious awaiting his arrival. Now, instead, I'm kissing and cooing to sweetness every day, and finding it hard to unpack boxes and organize a new home.
I think this 3rd week of his life he has grown the most. There was one particular night where I felt like he was growing before my eyes as he nursed. He is getting adorably chubby, and smiles much more. His eyes have cleared and when he looks around you can just imagine the delight he has in taking in all the new colors and shapes.
I cannot stop taking pictures of him. He is changing way too fast and I want to remember every moment, even when memories fade. But, I do promise not to post weekly pictures until he's 47 weeks old, K? ;) Actually I'll probably post way more than once a week . . .
